Llandudno, located in the north of Wales is a great tourist/holiday town for you to visit if you’re looking for a great time away. Sitting at the top of Conwy, it shares its county with some other popular places to visit in Wales.
The Great Orme and the Little Orme sit either side of the promenade of Llandudno, with the largest summit (The Great Orme) being 679 feet! From the top, you can scan across the whole town of Llandudno and can even see Blackpool Tower across the sea on a good day. With many ways to ascent the mountain, including a cable car, walking or a road for vehicles. Taking in the promenade of Llandudno is a beautiful sight, which is why reaching the top is not a difficult task, with the options being very vast.
The tramway located in Llandudno starts at the bottom of the town and ascends to the top, slowly moving away from the town until you can watch it through the mountains. Along with you on the trip – but not inside the car, are mountain goats, watching them jump around on the mountain whilst taking your journey up there.
The Promenade of Llandudno is one of the most amazing sights, but being able to walk along it too is fantastic. With brilliant architecture on one side, and the sea on the other, talking a stroll along is a recommended option. Walking past the old hotels and the beach can leave your breathless, watching the horizon as you return to your accommodation for the night.
Llandudno is a fantastic place to get away, even if it is just a day – or a short break!
